Convention and contest announcement 2013
Hello MNPAers!
If you thought we weren’t coming back well you were just plain wrong. Yes we are having a contest and yes we will have a convention where we will speakers and showcase the winners.
Here are the particulars. Contest entries are due Sunday, March 17th 10:00pm. See this link to enter. http://mnpa.org/?page_id=1436
We are still working on speakers for the convention. Like last year, we’ll bring in a big name and then hopefully have some local folks to show their work. The date for the convention is Saturday, April 20th. Mike Zerby has yet again come through for us and we have Murphy Hall at our disposal. He rocks.
We’ve also been having photo nights hosted by Hannah Foslien. They have been a great and casual way to look at each other’s work, get feedback and share ideas. I want to thank Hannah for taking that on. We’ll keep you guys informed of the next one.
I also want thank McKenna Ewen. He makes the website and the contest go and without him we would be lost. For that I owe him a drink of epic proportions.
So please honor these hard working folks, your fellow photographers, and oh me and become a member, enter the contest and come to the convention. Take the time and have some fun with us.
